Tumor Suppressor RASAL1 Inactivation via Aberrant Splicing
Release date:
2024-12-31
Description:
RAS GTPase-activating-like protein 1 (RASAL1) is a prominent tumor suppressor, whose loss is a well-established robust oncogenic mechanism. The RASAL1 variants displayed different patterns of regulation at the protein synthesis level. To explore the underlying mechanism, this study investigates the variant-specific translation patterns of RASAL1 (RASAL1-001 and RASAL1-004) in the WRO cell line using a combination of ribosome profiling and RNA sequencing analyses.
