Title:
RNA-seq on NIID neural progenitor cells before and after gene therapy
Release date:
2025-12-01
Description:
Neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) is a neurodegenerative disorder caused by GGC repeat expansion in the NOTCH2NLC gene. We employed CRISPR/Cas9 technology to perform gene editing on the GGC repeats of the NOTCH2NLC gene, followed by RNA-seq to compare the differences between gene-edited and unedited neural progenitor cells (NPCs) from NIID patients, as well as normal control NPCs.
