Description: Recent studies have revealed the presence of intratumoral microbiome in several kinds of tumors, but the characteristics of microbiome in hepatocellular carcinoma and its clinical significance remian unclear. In this project, we explored the microbial community profiles in hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent normal tissus using 16S rDNA sequencing. The relationship between the intratumoral microbiome and patients' clinical characteristics was then investigated.
