The total genomic DNA was extracted and purified from approximately 250 mg of the selected paddy soil samples using the DNeasy PowerSoil Kit (Qiagen; Germany) following manufacturer’s instructions and stored at -20 °C. The quantity and quality of DNA were determined by measuring the A260/280 ratio and content (Qubit® 2.0 Fluorometer) after loading 1 µL of each DNA sample in Nanodrop. |
