2bRAD-M method utilizes Type IIB restriction enzymes to produce exclusively iso-length DNA fragments of 25 to 33 bp (depending on the selection of enzymes) for sequencing. This approach reduces the bias in PCR-based fragment amplification and thus ensures the high fidelity of the taxonomic profile. |
