The 10x Genomics Visium CytAssist platform transfers transcriptomic analytes from standard slides to spatial gene expression slides, which contain barcoded spots for capturing gene expression data. Tissue sections undergo preprocessing, including staining, imaging, and probe hybridization, before alignment in CytAssist for in situ transcriptomic transfer. Captured transcriptomic information is then processed through probe extension, cDNA fragmentation, library construction, and sequencing to generate spatial transcriptomic data. |
