TRIM52-AS is downregulated in RCC tissues and cell lines [1].
Function
Downregulation of TRIM52-AS1 has a negative effect on cellular proliferation in RCC (renal cell carcinoma) and inhibites the migration of RCC cells, indicating that TRIM52-AS1 act as a tumor suppressor gene in RCC .[1]
Expression
Compared with the adjacent normal tissues, the expression of TRIM52-AS1 in the RCC tissues is significantly lower.[1]
