ZNF451-AS1 suppresses tumor growth in a xenograft model of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) by inhibiting zinc finger protein 451 (ZNF451) expression [1].

ZNF451 expression inversely correlated with the ZNF451-AS1 levels in the pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tumor tissues and cell lines. ZNF451-AS1 over-expression led to decreased the levels of ZNF451 expression in the pancreatic cancer cells and enhanced the level of p15 and p21 expression, and suppressed the proliferation and migration of the AsPC-1 and PANC-1 cells, ultimately lead to growth arrest in pancreatic cancer cells [1].

ZNF451-AS1 levels in the pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) tumor tissues were lower than those in the adjacent normal tissues [1].
