m6A Modification Profile of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells Using Microarrays
Title | m6A Modification Profile of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells Using Microarrays |
---|---|
Description | In recent decades, N6-methyladenosine (m6A) has become a hot topic in the scientific research field and provides novel approaches for the diagnosis and therapy of various diseases. However, neither the m6A modification profile nor the potential role it plays in the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) has been investigated to date. Here, total RNA was extracted from isolated peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) of T1D patients and then performed an m6A epitranscriptomic microarray analysis. The m6A epitranscriptomic profile will provide biological markers and putative immune targets for the diagnosis, treatment and eventual reversal of T1DM. |
