Title Dietary Cholesterol Promotes Cognitive Impairment
Description Dietary cholesterol is often found in high-fat diet (HFD) and may be harmful to cognitive function. The gut microbiome represents an environmental factor influenced by diet, which regulates cognitive function via the gut-brain axis. This study investigated the role of dietary cholesterol in HFD-induced cognitive impairment, as well as the involvement of the gut microbiota and its metabolites in this process.
