| Title |
Identification of key candidate genes and marker metabolites of melanin synthesis in black-bone chicken |
| Description |
This study combines transcriptomics and metabolomics analysis to investigate candidate genes and metabolites in the melanin synthesis pathway of Chinese local black-bone chickens (Yanjin black-bone chicken) and hybrid black-bone chickens (Jinling Partridge black-bone chicken) through multivariate data analysis. Additionally, metabolic pathways that may be influenced by melanin synthesis are explored. Understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the differences in melanin deposition is essential for investigating the nutritional quality, functional value, and potential breed improvement of black-bone chicken meat. |
