Title Targeted omics analysis of liver energy metabolism in C57BL mice after Escherichia coli infection
Description Metabolic reprogramming is an important adaptive mechanism for the host to resist infection. To clarify the energy metabolism regulation in programmed cell death induced by E.coli. We conducted targeted omics analysis of energy metabolism in the liver of mice. After infection, the levels of acetyl-COA, Citrate, cis-aconitate, Isocitrate and α -ketoglutarate in the TCA cycle were all upregulated, while succinyl-COA and Succinate were downregulated. Meanwhile, the content of the anti-inflammatory metabolite Itaconic acid increased sharply, suggesting that this metabolic reprogramming may have both anti-infection and cell fate regulation functions.
