| Title | RNA-seq of liver tissue from LCAT KO and WT hamster with HFHCD |
|---|---|
| Description | 8 week old hamsters (LCAT KO and WT) weighing 110 130 g were selected for the experiment. All the animals were fed either a chow diet or a HFHC diet (0.5% cholesterol and 10% fat, w/w, based on a powdered chow diet) provided by BiotechHD Co. Ltd., Beijing, China, for 12 weeks. Water was available ad libitum.Total RNA was sent to Novogene Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China) for transcriptome analysis. In brief, the quality and quantity of the purified RNA were assessed using a NanoDrop spectrophotometer (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) and agarose gel electrophoresis. After confirming the integrity of the mRNA samples, all samples were sequenced using a NovaSeq 6000 sequencer (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA). |
