Annotated Information

Function

This gene is originaly derived from the Oryza sativa Japonica Group(cultivar: Nipponbare). It encodes a kind of basic secretory protein in rice suspension-cultured cells. And study shows that this protein showed homology to proteins induced by biotic stress in the Arabidopsis.[1].The protein belongs to BSP surperfamily. BSP,Peptidase of plants and bacteria; These basic secretory proteins (BSPs) are believed to be part of the plants defence mechanism against pathogens. SO we believe that the gene will upregulate and plays an important roe in the process of against pathogens. The following is its BSP domain and its structure.
BSP gene structure.
BSP domain.
15 molecular pathways with links to genes including menbrane-bounded organelle、cytolasmic vesicle、cytomlasm、vesicle、cell and cellular component and so on. The protein of the gene encodes is the basic structural and functional unit of all organisms. Includes the plasma membrane and any external encapsulating structures such as the cell wall and cell envelope.
