ScienceWikis is a catalog of biological knowledge wikis, aiming to exploit the full potential of wiki technology in life sciences.

Purpose & Aims

The purpose of ScienceWikis is as follows.

• Initiate bio-wiki projects for biological knowledge integration, such as, wiki-based annotation system for specific species.

• Develop wiki extensions to facilitate content creation, editing, visualization, exchange and sharing.

• Measure users' contributions, give explicit authorship, and provide a standard practice for rewarding users' contributions in bio-wikis.

• LiMi: literature mining through PubMed searching for biological knowledge wikis.
