The pharmacogenomics module focuses on geroprotectors, and will allow users to query compounds related to aging, providing abundant summary data in model organisms, according to aging phenotype, targets, pathways, and age-related disease. The module currently contains a list of hundreds of compounds and omics datasets from drug therapy analysis (both in vivo and in vitro), revealing changes in gene regulation and expression caused by specific lifespan/healthspan-extending drugs.
1.On the Geroprotective Compounds home page: users can browse Top small molecules module, displaying geroprotective compounds with the most search volume in the Geroprotective Compounds database and updating once a week. In the Clinical trial/Feature article module, users can look through typical clinical research submitted to ClinicalTrials.gov and high-quality academic papers in the field of delaying aging drugs. And the Geroprotective Compounds list, including compound name, model organisms that verify the effect of compound to delay aging, changes in aging-related phenotypes (lifespan or healthspan), and the corresponding RNA-seq data, summarizes the 358 anti-aging compounds from published paper. Users can directly click into compound subpage or RNA-seq data page by name or RNA-seq link, respectively.
2.The Geroprotective Compounds database supports compound name (Compound), gene name (Gene) as keywords for searching, in order to realize forward and reverse search of compound-regulatory gene.
3.On the Geroprotective Compounds subpage: Users can sequentially view identification information, RNA-seq data, targets, pathways, and aging-related disease. In the RNA-seq data section, users can filter data by selecting species, cells/tissue type, and up-regulation or down-regulation according to requirements and download. Furthermore, the Geroprotective Compounds subpage also provides a list of references, and users can click the link to view the full-text.
