| Description | Xiaomi is an extremly short life cycle EMS mutagenized mutant which shows growth characters similar to those of Arabidopsis, producing up to six generations per year and growing to ~26 cm tall. To promote the use Xiaomi as a model plant, we sequenced and assembled the Xiaomi genome by combining single molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing (PacBio RSII and Sequel), short read paired-end sequencing (Illumina Hi-Seq) and chromosome conformation capture sequencing (Hi-C). | ||||||||||||||||||||
