Title Deciphering early human pancreas development at single-cell level
Relevance Medical
Data types Epigenomics
Transcriptome or Gene expression
Single cell sequencing
Organisms Homo sapiens
Description Here, we performed scRNA-seq of human embryonic pancreas from post-conception week (PCW) 4 to 11 and scATAC-seq from PCW8 to 11. We profiled major cell types of pancreatic epithelial cells including dorsal and ventral MP cells and revealed molecular heterogeneity and developmental trajectory of them. Next, we identified the transcription factor, regulatory network and signal pathway of acinar and ductal linage cells determination. Finally, we revealed regulatory network of endocrinogenesis and transcription dynamics of EP and endocrine cells. Taking together, our data depicted the whole pancreatic organogenesis during the first trimester (PCW 4-11) at single-cell level.
