HRA000144 (Controlled Access) | The majority of esophageal squamous dysplasia (ESD) are growing slowly, while a subset can undergo recurrence rapidly and progress with lethal consequences even after proper treatment. In the present study, we performed whole-exome sequencing on 105 clinical samples from 80 tumor-free ESD patients. Those genomic variations largely expanded our understanding in genetics and biology of ESD, which possessed promising significance for improving early diagnosis, reducing overtreatment, and identifying high risk ESD patients. |
