Intestinal fibrosis, a common complication of Crohn's Disease, is characterized by excessive extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition which induces intestinal strictures. This study aims to identify the main producer of the pathogenic ECM and explore potential therapeutic targets. We obtained the normal and fibrotic intestinal tissues from Crohn's disease patients with intestinal obstruction. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was operated on the intestinal specimens. |
