What is Phenotype?

We selected some representative phenotypes to describe the characteristics associated with leaf senescence. According to many research papers focused on leaf senescence, we adopted the following criteria to evaluate the degree of leaf senescence of mutants under different conditions (Natural development, Darkness treatment, Nutritional deficiency, Stress induced and Others):

1. Chlorophyll content
2. Chloroplast structure
3. Leaf color
4. Fv/Fm
5. Marker gene expression
7. Cell death marker
8. Redox status
9. Biomass
