| Description | Our single-cell transcriptomic data of human embryonic limb have revealed that MSC, a transcriptional repressor, is expressed in PAX7+ muscle stem cells. To test whether MSC plays a role in repressing PAX7+ muscle stem cell differentiation, we knocked down MSC in human embryonic limb primary myoblasts. Our qPCR results showed profound up regulation of myocyte differentiation genes, suggesting that MSC is ia a key transcriptional repressor in maintaining the stemness of PAX7+ muscle stem cell. |
