1Summary
Title Dissection of organochlorine insecticide endosulfan-induced liver injury via single-cell RNA sequencing
Description Environment pollutants associated liver toxicity have captured increasing attention due to the increasing liver diseases in recent years. Endosulfan (ENDO), a widely used organochlorine insecticide, exerts potential health risks for multiple organs including liver. However, the underlying mechanisms of ENDO-induced liver injury remain largely unclear. Here, single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) was employed to investigate ENDO-induced liver toxicity in mice. Overall, our results reveal key genes and cellular pathways for ENDO-induced liver toxicity at single-cell resolution, providing novel insight into understanding the liver injury associated with organochlorine insecticide such as endosulfan.
