Description | Chromium (Cr) is a trace metal that can have detrimental effects on living organisms at high concentrations. In this study, we investigated the influence of chromium stress on intestinal metabolites in silkworms (Bombyx mori) by subjecting them to a dietary chromium supplement of 12g/kg and 24g/kg, compared to a control group. Metabolite profiling was performed using advanced Mass Spectrometry analytical techniques to assess the alterations induced by chromium exposure. |
