The effect of interaction of intermittent hypoxia and copper on the progression of metabolic associated fatty liver disease

OMIX005113

1Summary
Title The effect of interaction of intermittent hypoxia and copper on the progression of metabolic associated fatty liver disease
Description Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an independent risk factor for metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). Copper deficiency can disrupt redox homeostasis and lipid metabolism, contributing to the development of MAFLD. Here, we investigated what role of hepatic copper deficiency plays in OSA-associated MAFLD and explore the possible underlying mechanism(s)
