1Summary
Title Fatty acid metabonomics analysis for BIU-87 cell line of TERC knockdown
Description Bladder cancer ranks second among the most prevalent malignancies of the urinary system. In recent years, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been shown to regulate biological functions by interacting with proteins or other RNA molecules, thus playing crucial roles in tumor progression. In this study, we analyzed the association between lncRNA TERC and fatty acid metabolism through free fatty acid metabolomics in bladder cancer. We found that when TERC was knocked down in the bladder cancer cell line BIU-87, the contents of multiple unsaturated fatty acids in the cells were significantly downregulated. This indicates that TERC may regulate fatty acid metabolism in bladder cancer.
