| Title |
Metabolomic profiling of choline-to-TMA conversion by cultured gut microbes |
| Description |
Phocaeicola massiliensis, Veillonella spp., and Klebsiella pneumoniae were isolated from the feces of healthy individuals and cultured anaerobically in BHI medium supplemented with 1% choline chloride. Each strain was incubated at 37°C for 24 h. Culture supernatants were collected, and TMA levels were quantified using LC-MS/MS with d9-TMA as internal standard. This dataset characterizes the strain-specific ability of gut microbes to convert choline into TMA. |
