| Title |
Untargeted metabolomic profiling of mouse brain tissue during Japanese encephalitis virus infection |
| Description |
This dataset contains untargeted metabolomics data acquired from the brains of six week old female C57BL/6 mice following intracranial infection with Japanese encephalitis virus JEV strain P3. Mice were inoculated with 200 PFU of JEV or an equal volume of DMEM as mock control and brain tissues were harvested at 5 days post infection with n equals 5 per group. Metabolites were extracted using 80 percent ice cold LC/MS grade methanol and analyzed by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry. The data were used to identify global metabolic alterations associated with JEV infection in the central nervous system. |
