Epigenetic Impact of Chronic Inflammation On Colon Mucosa Cells
Title | Epigenetic Impact of Chronic Inflammation On Colon Mucosa Cells |
---|---|
Description | To investigate how DNA methylation alterations contribute to inflammation-associated carcinogenesis, chronic colitis mouse model was established by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS) treated and then colon mucosa were separated for Bisulfite genomic sequencing. The methylation level was calculated based on the percentage of methylated cytosine in the whole genome, including mCG, CHG and CHH. Differentially methylated regions (DMRs) both in the upstream, downstream and genebody between DSS-treated colon mucosa (DSS) and control (CK) were identified. |
