FP-Zernike calculate zernike descriptors for structual analysis
Introduction
We proposed an ultra-fast and accurate toolkit called FP-Zernike, providing protein(or RNA) structure search and structural database construction. FP-Zernike provides two main functions for users: 1) given a customized structural dataset, different Zernike descriptor datasets for structural analysis can be constructed; 2) given a query structure, ultra-fast(4~9s) retrieval can be achieved in a large structural dataset[including 590685 structures]. Plenty of experiments are performed on carefully constructed datasets, the results proved that FP-Zernike achieved higher retrieval accuracy and binary classification accuracy. This paper provides enough experimental and theoretical analysis of FP-Zernike.
