The 8th International Biocuration Conference is organized in collaboration with the International Society for Biocuration (ISB). If you are not already a member of the Society, we encourage you to join today and save $100 off the registration fee. If you wish to join the Society to qualify for this discount, please leave yourself time to do this before the registration deadline.

Early registration, which provides you with a lower registration cost (see below) ends on March 12, 2015 (CST).

The deadline for online registration is April 12, 2015 (CST).

Following the above link, you will be taken to the Biocuration2015 Registration & Abstract Portal. To register online, you need first to create an account in this Portal. One email to activate your account will be sent to the email address you provide.

Once you have submitted your registration information, you will be directed to the online payment page. After you make sure that all your registration information are correct, you can check out with PayPal. Please NOTE that only activated account can make the payment and your registration is not complete until you have paid and received an email confirming receipt of payment.

You will receive two verification emails: one is to confirm your registration information and display what information will be printed on your badge, the other is to confirm receipt of payment. Please check these emails in all your mail folders, in case they may be regarded as spam information. Please note: The registration fee covers: Attendance at all sessions and workshop/tutorials; Three lunches; Coffee/refreshments during breaks and poster sessions. The registration fee does not include accommodations. Participants are responsible to book and pay their own accommodation and travel expenses. Registration fees are in US dollars and do not include VAT (6 per cent). All relevant key dates are China Standard Time (GMT+8). The amount of registration fee depends on the exact time you pay as well as your job type (Student or Non-student), place of work (Academic or Non-academic) and whether you are an ISB member.

Conference Registration Policy:
1. All cancellations must be e-mailed to the Conference Secretariat at biocuration2015@big.ac.cn.
2. Cancellations received up to and including the 15th March 2015 (China Standard Time) will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
3. No refunds will be given after 15th March 2015 (China Standard Time).
4. Transfer of registration to another delegate can be done without charge once the registration type is similar. Please inform the Conference Secretariat of changes as soon as possible.
5. By registering for Biocuration2015, delegates give permission for their contact details to be used by ISB for official purposes only and to be included in the list of participants in the conference book.

The organizers reserve the right to alter any of the arrangements for this conference; including cancellation of the event should unforeseen circumstances require such action. The organizers accept no responsibility for resulting costs and inconvenience to delegates who are advised to have their own travel insurance in place.

The currency exchange rate to be applied in the case of payments and refunds, will be based on the available exchange rate at the time of the transaction. The Conference Organizers and/or ISB are not responsible for any changes in exchange rates which may cause any differences or any other additional fees levied by your bank or card processor. All bank charges are the responsibility of the delegate.
