| Title | Transcriptome dataset of HCC |
|---|---|
| Description | Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is a widely used canonical biomarker for the incidence or recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). AFP-positive HCC has been intensively investigated; however, the microenvironmental characteristics of AFP-negative HCC remain to be deciphered. We not only uncovered a previously unrecognized AR-mediated hyperactive arachidonic acid microenvironment in AFP-negative HCC, but also revealed AR-11,12-EET-EGFR axis-induced angiogenesis, providing a strategy for combined androgen receptor inhibitor with anti-angiogenic blockade for AFP-negative HCC intervention. |
