Title:
Aging and comprehensive molecular profiling in acute myeloid leukemia
Release date:
2024-02-15
Description:
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is an aging-related and heterogeneous hematopoietic malignancy. To date, the molecular basis and its clinical significance of aging including common genomic and transcriptomic alterations in AML has not been fully elucidated. In this study, a total of 1,348 newly diagnosed AML patients from three centers were enrolled and subjected to RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq, n=1,348) and targeted or whole exome sequencing (TES/WES, n=1,286). The correlation of age-related factors including gene fusions, genetic mutations, and gene expression networks or pathways between age/gender/clonal hematopoiesis (CH) groups were systematically analyzed.
