Branch For RNA-seq, A. chinensis RNA samples were prepared from young leaves, branches, open flowers, exocarp and seeds using an RNeasy Plant Mini Kit (Qiagen, https://www.qiagen.com). RNAseq library preparation was done using a TruSeq RNA Library Prep Kit v.2 (Illumina , San Diego, CA, USA). Good quality libraries were sequenced using the NextSeq 500 platform.
