The Magnetic Soil and Stool DNA Kit was utilized for DNA extraction following the manufacturer's instructions. The complete 16S rRNA gene was amplified using the general primers 27F (5'-AGRGTTTGATYNTGGCTCAG-3') and 1492R (5'-TACGGYTACCTTGTTACGACTT-3'), with the addition of PacBio barcode sequences unique to each sample.
