Abstract

In a group of patients with renal insufficiency in the chronic dialysis programme the K-cell-activity (antibody-depending cellular cytotoxicity) by means of 51-Cr-labelled chicken erythrocytes as target cells was determined and was found significantly decreased. The findings may be regarded as a sequel of the dialysis together with the already described T-lymphopenia. The reasons of this complex disturbance of the cellular immunity under conditions of dialysis are unknown.
