Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual female shiny-headed wasp-sawfly, (Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Tenthredinidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 199.80 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.95%) is scaffolded into 18 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 33.96 kilobases in length.
