Description In this project, we propose to study the molecular mechanisms of the establishment of H3K9me3 at heterochromatin. We are planning to identify new players associated with pericentromeric heterochromatin by a newly devised proximal-labelling method and study their roles and mechanisms on the regulation of pericentromeric heterochromatin.
