Description: Established in 1996, the Pediatric Blood Diseases Center is a research-oriented medical center which focuses on childhood leukemia and childhood bone marrow hematopoietic failure. At the same time, the diagnosis of rare and difficult miscellaneous childhood hematological diseases and the treatment of critical childhood hematological diseases are also unique. The diagnosis and treatment level of congenital bone marrow failure, myelodysplastic syndrome, and childhood myeloproliferative tumor (childhood chronic myeloid leukemia, juvenile chronic myelomonocytic leukemia) is in the leading position in China. Nowadays, the etiological diagnosis and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) treatment of rare childhood hematologic diseases have been fully carried out in our center.
