Abstract

We detected the expressions of neuropilin-1 (NRP-1) on glioma cell lines and glioma tissues by neuropilin-1 monoclonal antibody (NRP-1 MAb). The expressions of NRP-1 on glioma cell lines and glioma tissues were detected by Western blot, Immunofluorescence staining and Immunocytochemistry staining, which indicated that the NRP-1 was over-expressed on glioma cell lines (U251, U87 and C6) and glioma tissues. NRP-1 MAb prepared successfully could combine specifically to membranes of glioma cell lines (U251, U87, and C6). It lays a foundation for further research on biological treatment of glioma.
