Expression Database of Human Long non-coding RNAs

The LncExpDB Metabolic Disease module focuses on collecting differentially expressed genes in Disease and Healthy groups.

  • Click on the Overview Chart in Expression Levels to get an overview of the expression levels of the corresponding lncRNA across multiple datasets.
  • H, M, L, NE are used to represent lncRNA expression Levels. For specifics, please refer to Help > 2.5
  • Use the filter on the right to identify genes with disease-specific expression levels: High (H), Medium (M), or Low (L).
  • Filter results by entering keywords in the Search box at the top right of the Table.

  • Click on the Volcano plot in Featured Genes to obtain the volcano plot for each dataset, along with the highlighted corresponding lncRNA.
  • Use the filter on the right to find up- or down-regulated lncRNAs across various Disease Types.
  • Click on the button in the Up / Down column to view gene expression in the healthy / disease group in the corresponding tissue / organ, linear fit to age and functional annotation based on lncRNA-mRNA interactions (based on the Gene Ontology).
  • Filter results by entering keywords in the Search box at the top right of the Table.

Interaction

  • By clicking the tab of “Interactions”, you can select specific datasets of interest and browse the cis or trans interactions between lncRNAs and mRNAs.
  • Moreover, user can select a specific group of interaction by custom thresholds or search the related interactions by lncRNA/protein-coding id or symbol.
