Regulation&Interaction
Protein-protein interaction (PPI)
Bpev01.c4934.g0001 Involved in the aerobic and anaerobic degradation of long-chain fatty acids via beta-oxidation cycle. Catalyzes the formation of 3-oxoacyl-CoA from enoyl-CoA via L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoA. It can also use D-3-hydroxyacyl-CoA and cis-3-enoyl-CoA as substrate
Bpev01.c4955.g0001 Catalyzes the reversible isomerization-deamination of glucosamine 6-phosphate (GlcN6P) to form fructose 6-phosphate (Fru6P) and ammonium ion
Bpev01.c4955.g0002 Involved in the first step in the biosynthesis of amino- sugar-nucleotides. Catalyzes the hydrolysis of the N-acetyl group of N-acetylglucosamine-6-phosphate (GlcNAc-6-P) to yield glucosamine 6-phosphate and acetate. In vitro, can also hydrolyze substrate analogs such as N-thioacetyl-D-glucosamine-6-phosphate, N-trifluoroacetyl-D-glucosamine-6-phosphate, N-acetyl-D- glucosamine-6-sulfate, N-acetyl-D-galactosamine-6-phosphate, and N-formyl-D-glucosamine-6-phosphate

KEGG Term Name Description
map01100 Metabolic pathways -
map00563 Glycosylphosphatidylinositol(GPI)-anchor biosynthesis Cell surface proteins can be attached to the cell membrane via the glycolipid structure called glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchor. Hundreds of GPI-anchored proteins have been identified in many eukaryotes ranging from protozoa and fungi to mammals. All protein-linked GPI anchors share a common core structure, characterized by the substructure Man (a1-4) GlcN (a1-6) myo-inositol-1P-lipid. Biosynthesis of GPI anchors proceeds in three stages: (i) preassembly of a GPI precursor in the ER membrane, (ii) attachment of the GPI to the C-terminus of a newly synthesized protein in the lumen of the ER, and (iii) lipid remodeling and/or carbohydrate side-chain modifications in the ER and the Golgi. Defects of GPI anchor biosynthesis gene result in a genetic disorder, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
